Running from the 12th to the 16th of October, the event will be held at The Beach Park, Port City Colombo.
This is the first time an Oktoberfest event is being held at Port City Colombo, and is expected to attract a crowd of over 1,500 people each day with more footfall during the weekend.
This year’s rendition of the event titled, ‘Bavaria on the Beach’ sets the stage for German bands and hostesses, backed by a line-up of popular local bands.
Festival goers will be able to indulge in authentic German cuisine within a carnival atmosphere.
With an emphasis on being a family friendly event, traditional games and an activity zone for kids are available for their enjoyment.
