One of Sri Lanka’s most coveted awards, The CA Annual Report Awards recognizes excellence in annual financial reporting while encouraging effective communication to stakeholders through the publication of informative annual reports, promoting effective presentation of financial and non-financial information.
This year the CA Annual Report Awards was held under the theme precision exemplified
Themed ‘We are doing More’, the Annual Report of MTD Walkers PLC covered the Group’s financial performance, its environmental and social performance as well as the corporate governance framework and risk management process, with each linked to addressing the significant impacts to the Group.
The Report highlighted the Group’s overall value creation strategy with regard to its operations, through risk management, addressing of key sustainability concerns and corporate governance.
The Report also provided an overview of the Group’s future strategies and integrated approach in managing its six capitals, risks, and opportunities through the utilisation of a comprehensive sustainability management framework.

This is our first integrated Annual Report and I am thrilled to have it recognized at the CA Annual Report Awards this year,” said Viraj De Silva, Chief Financial Officer of MTD Walkers PLC
