The acquisition of Nimex is the latest move to expand and diversify into areas related to its core business, as the Company establishes itself on a path of sustainable growth that reflects the company’s strength.
Commenting on the acquisition the Managing Director of Ceylon Pencil Co. (Pvt) Ltd. Mr Nirmal Madanayake stated that “with the increase of the leisure sector, changing life styles of consumers, and rise in income levels, disposable products of this nature will have a good growth potential in the medium term. Strategic growth initiatives such as the acquisition of Nimex will enable ATLAS to effectively leverage demand for products related to its core business’.
He added that as the acquisition is in line with the core business and distribution channels currently serviced by Ceylon Pencil Co ( Pvt) Ltd, consumers would enjoy greater access to Nimex products as well as the guarantee of quality and satisfaction the ATLAS brand is renowned for.
