Fashion Bug makes a lasting Fashion Statement at Serenade

Sri Lanka's premier fashion retail store, Fashion Bug showcased a dazzling collection of sarees at Serenade, a fashion show that mesmerised all who attended it, held at the Crystal ballroom of the Taj Samudra.

The event was graced by many of Colombo’s fashionistas, among a 375 audience that turned up.

Fashion Bug was one of the main sponsors of the event showcasing their exclusive sari line; a dazzling glam saree collection featuring worked, cut worked and embellished sarees, as well as trendy printed sarees, all of which literally wowed the audience!!

Also showcased were a selection of trendy casual wear that appealed to both the young and young at heart !

The tasteful and classy designer saree collection that Fashion Bug houses is by now a popular secret among Colombo’s Fashionistas . “As plans are underway to formally launch the collection very soon, the collection showcased here is merely a hint of what’s in store for the fashion conscious elite of Sri Lanka" said Shabier Subian, Director Fashion Bug.

Fashion Bug was founded in 1994 in Bandarawela with a 7 member team, the first shop being a mere 500 square feet in Bandarawela town.
