Asian Alliance Insurance recognized by IATA-AASL for contribution to its members

For its commitment and contribution to its members, Asian Alliance Insurance PLC has been recognized by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) Agents’ Association of Sri Lanka (AASL) at the IATA-AASL Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently.

IATA-AASL paid tribute to the travel product of Asian Alliance Insurance – ‘Travel Smart’ – by presenting a memento at the recently concluded AGM.


The memento, presented by IATA-AASL President – Tilak Wickramasinghe and Vice President – Channe Wijemanne was received on behalf of Asian Alliance Insurance by Manager – Travel Services – Shane Vandersay.

The AGM of IATA-AASL is a high-level event, which seeks to strengthen relationships among industry stakeholders.


This year the event was held at Nairobi – Kenya.

Asian Alliance Insurance’s ‘Travel Smart’ travel insurance product offers comprehensive cover for travellers from personal accident, personal liability, loss of baggage/personal effects/money/passport, hijacking, cancellation of flights and enables reimbursement of medical expenses, among others.

Besides the recognition from IATA-AASL, Asian Alliance was also recently listed among the country’s top 25 best workplaces by Great Place to Work® Institute, Sri Lanka.
