CFA Society Sri Lanka announces executive programme on Money Bond Markets in the local context

CFA Society Sri Lanka today announced a one-day executive training programme, “Practical Aspects of the Money Market and Bond Market in the Local Context,” to be held on Wednesday, 08 October 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Courtyard by Marriott, Colombo City Centre.

Designed for treasury, investment, and finance professionals, the programme blends core concepts with hands-on dealing practices, pricing and yield calculations, trading strategies, and current market developments relevant to Sri Lanka.

Participants will gain actionable skills to strengthen liquidity management, investment decision-making, and risk management, aligning daily operations with local conventions and global best practices.

The session will be facilitated by Yasantha Jayasinghe, CFA, Former Head of Forex & Fixed Income Trading for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Nepal, Standard Chartered Bank.

“This programme is built to be practical from start to finish; participants will leave with tools they can apply immediately in their dealing rooms and treasury functions.

As market conditions evolve, building confident, well-tooled teams is critical.

This initiative helps organisations upgrade capabilities while enhancing market knowledge and performance,” said a spokesperson for CFA Society Sri Lanka.

The target audience would be for corporate executives in treasury and finance; bankers and primary dealers; fund managers and analysts; corporate finance professionals; policy professionals; and CFA charterholders and candidates seeking deeper market insight.

Registrations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
