Hemas Recognized for Leadership in Sustainability

Hemas Holdings PLC was honoured as one of Sri Lanka’s leading corporate citizens at the ‘Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability (BCCS) Awards 2025’, reaffirming the Group’s position as a purpose-led organization with a strong track record in ethical governance sustainability performance and national value creation.

Organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the BCCS Awards recognize organisations that demonstrate commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, stakeholder value-creation and national development.

Placed amongst the Top Ten Best Corporate Citizens, the Group emerged as the 2nd Runner-up Overall after clinching the Sector Award amongst diversified entities; the Best Supplier Relations accolade; and a Merit Project Award for its sustainability efforts to conserve critically endangered endemic species.
