The event, held on August 18th at the Auditorium of the Specialist Centre at Nawaloka Hospital, featured the unveiling of the new 40th anniversary logo.
The occasion was honoured by the presence of Nawaloka Hospitals PLC Chairman, Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Deputy Chairman Anisha Dharmadasa, Executive Director Prof. Lal Chandrasena, along with consultants, nurses, and hospital staff.
Reflecting on the milestone, Dr. Dharmadasa emphasized that the 40th anniversary symbolizes the hospital’s enduring journey, and the unwavering dedication of its staff to providing committed healthcare services.
The anniversary logo incorporates the auspicious colors blue and orange, designated as the lucky colors for 2026, and will represent Nawaloka Hospitals’ brand identity from 2026 onwards.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Dharmadasa stated the following.
“Today, Nawaloka Hospitals, PLC proudly celebrates 40 years of leadership in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector.
This milestone is marked with the unveiling of our new 40th Anniversary logo; a symbol of progress, compassion, and trust.
For four decades, Nawaloka has set the standard for medical excellence, pioneering innovation and empathy at every stage.
Our legacy is defined by our unwavering commitment to world-class care, underpinned by our guiding motto: Healing with Feeling.
Looking toward the future, Nawaloka is accelerating its transformation with the expanded integration of AI across its medical services.
This technology will play a vital role in early disease detection, personalized diagnostics, and operational efficiency, enabling more precise and data driven patient care.
The unveiling of the 40th anniversary logo also marks the beginning of a forward-looking journey, where Nawaloka Hospitals integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into its services.
This transformative approach will enhance efficiency, expand opportunities for advanced medical research, and improve patient outcomes, while prioritizing early risk detection in preventive care.
Crucially, AI will be harnessed to support and not replace the expertise of medical professionals, enabling them to provide more accurate, personalized, and compassionate care.
The new logo stands as both a celebration of four decades of healing with feeling and a symbol of Nawaloka’s commitment to leading Sri Lanka into a future where advanced technology and human compassion come together to redefine healthcare.
