FHIIT Celebrates a Stellar 2025 with Historic Award Win Community Milestones and Visionary Growth into 2026

FHIIT, Sri Lanka’s leading functional fitness brand, caps off an extraordinary 2025 marked by historic achievements, community momentum and strategic foundations for future expansion with it’s next location slated to open in Wattala next month.

This year’s success underscores FHIIT’s journey from a pioneering fitness concept to a recognised force shaping the nation’s health and wellness landscape.

A defining moment of the year was FHIIT’s groundbreaking win at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2025 — securing the Bronze Award in the SME Local Brand of the Year category, the first time a fitness brand in Sri Lanka has been honoured at this prestigious platform.

FHIIT’s win reflects its strong brand growth, community impact and role in
normalising fitness as a lifestyle choice across the country.

“Winning at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards is not just a milestone for us — it’s validation of six years of commitment to quality, results and community,” said Yohan Rathnayake, Founder of FHIIT.

“This recognition motivates us as we look to 2026 with even greater ambition.”

In 2025, FHIIT also celebrated its sixth anniversary with a glamorous “Great Gatsby”-themed event, bringing together loyal members, fitness enthusiasts and industry partners to mark half a decade of transformation, culture and community engagement.

The celebration was a testament to FHIIT’s deep-rooted community spirit — a pillar of its success and resilience in times of national challenges.

Adding to the year’s highlights, Rathnayake delivered a proud moment on the global stage by securing a podium finish at the HYROX Delhi event, bringing home Sri Lanka’s first HYROX flag in the Men’s 35–39 division.

This achievement not only showcased elite athletic performance but also amplified FHIIT’s vision of making structured, high quality fitness accessible and inspiring across borders.

Beyond accolades and events, FHIIT continued to influence fitness culture through its structured 45 minute workouts, specialised programmes — including prenatal, postnatal and rehabilitation formats — and hybrid training offerings that blend physical and virtual experiences.

The brand’s commitment to science backed coaching and inclusive programming has elevated its role not just as a gym, but also as a lifestyle movement.

Looking ahead to 2026, FHIIT is poised for strategic expansion.

With identified locations in major cities and suburbs across Sri Lanka and plans underway for new facilities, the brand is ready to bring its functional fitness philosophy to even more communities.

The year will also see enhancements to digital training platforms and member support systems, ensuring that the FHIIT experience continues to evolve with its audience’s needs.
