DHL honored by Great Place to Work® Institute in Sri Lanka

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express servicesprovider, has been named one of the 2015 Top 20 ‘Best Companies to Work For’ in Sri Lanka, announced recently by the Great Place To Work® Institute.

This indicates that DHL has scored highly on dimensions of pride, credibility and camaraderie. In the overall rankings, DHL Express Sri Lanka is the only multinational corporation in the transportation/logisticsindustry to be named among the Top 20 this year.

Expressing his delight at the honor, Dimithri Perera, Country Manager, DHL Express Sri Lanka, said, “It is an absolute pleasure to see DHL honored as one of the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ in Sri Lanka.


The results show that our employees have great pride in the company as well as the work they do, and this allows us to consistently provide the best service and quality to our customers.”

The survey also noted that employees in these companies have great pride and confidence in the organization they work for, and believe that they are not discriminated against age, gender, religion or race.


In addition, employees in these companies also indicated that their organization provides a good workplace safety environment and they receive strong management support.

Aligning with the company’s global program in becoming the Employer of Choice, DHL Express Sri Lanka has implemented various measures to create an environment that engages employees, enabling them to deliver a real competitive advantage and superior business performance for customers.

“Our annual employee ‘Appreciation Week’ is a unique way in which DHL Express celebrates its employees.


Events are organized in offices around the world to entertain, relax and celebrate the contributions of employees.

DHL Express Sri Lanka continues to implement workplace improvement projects andfollows up on anonymous feedback received via the annual Employee Opinion Survey which gives employees the opportunity to let their voices be heard.


The annual survey is alsoa platform for employees to share their ideas for improving business processes and services.
