Midas Safety Sri Lanka Donates One Million Medical Gloves To Ministry of Health For COVID 19 Relief

Businesscafe - World’s pioneering private-label supplier of hand protection, Midas Safety donated 1 million medical grade gloves worth Rs. 16 million to the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka to aid the country’s relentless fight against the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The donation includes Nitrile Industrial High Risk disposable gloves that offer effective protection against virus contamination and are an essential PPE for medical personnel and frontline workers in handling COVID-19 patients.

This contribution follows Midas Safety’s previous donation in May 2020 at the onset of the pandemic where the company donated 1.25 million medical gloves to the Government of Sri Lanka.


The donation was accepted by His Excellency, the Prime Minister at his official residence.

With over 40 years of expertise in providing the best in hand protection to workers of various industries, renowned PPE and safety brands rely on Midas Safety as a credible source of industrial safety gloves.


Using this experience, Midas Safety has been at the forefront of the battle against the novel coronavirus.


Having identified the critical need for medical grade disposable protective gloves, they have been aiding and supplying gloves to key institutions and personnel such as local MOH offices, PHIs, government hospitals, police and security forces with its products.

These donations are in addition to the other charitable initiatives carried out by Midas Safety through its Corporate Social Responsibility.
