CIPM Joins Hands with T20 and ODI Captain Dasun Shanaka to Promote Resilient Leadership

Businesscafe - CIPM Sri Lanka – the Nation’s leader in human resource management, announced that it has signed up with Sri Lanka T20 and ODI captain Dasun Shanaka as their Brand Ambassador on the 24th of September at a ceremony held at the CIPM Auditorium at the “HR House” in Colombo.

CIPM President – Ken Vijayakumar, the CIPM Executive Council, Past Presidents, and the management and staff of CIPM participated at the event.


“Dasun Shanaka, in leading the national cricket team to victory to the delight of all Sri Lankans in multiple international cricketing events including the recently concluded Asia Cup and series win against the touring Aussies is the epitome of resilient leadership,” said Ken Vijayakumar – President CIPM Sri Lanka.


“In joining hands with a leader of the calibre of Dasun Shanaka, we expect to further and fulfil our objectives of promoting and inculcating resilient leadership at a national level which is the need of the hour in recovering and forging ahead to ensure a brighter future for our citizens and our country.


Much loved and respected Dasun who leads by example is best positioned to help us in achieving our objectives,” he added.

We need to identify and motivate talent in all corners of the country while instilling a culture of teamwork, commitment, and hard work as essential ingredients of the winning formula,” said Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka Cricket Captain for T20 and ODIs.


In addition, CIPM and Dasun Shanaka will work together to inculcate a resilient leadership culture amongst the HR fraternity and students, motivate talent at a national level, and to foster rejuvenation and resilience amongst all citizens in taking Sri Lanka forward towards economic recovery and stability.
