Atlas Wins 3rd Consecutive SLIM School Supply Brand of the Year Award

Businesscafe - Atlas, Sri Lanka’s leading stationery brand proved its continued popularity amongst people, with consumers voting them in as the ‘School Supply Brand of the Year 2022’ for the third consecutive year at the SLIM-Kantar People’s Awards 2022.

Asitha Samaraweera, Managing Director, Atlas Axillia Co. Ltd accepted the award presented to the most popular brand focused on learning, for its contribution to create equal educational opportunities.


Accompanying him were Kaushali Kusumapala, Director Marketing and Indrajith Binduhewa, Director Sales, and other members of Team Atlas.


The company was also nominated for the ‘Youth Choice Award for the FMCG Brand of the Year 2022’, being named among the Top 5 FMCG youth brands in Sri Lanka at the awards ceremony held on March 21,2022.

The only brand awards ceremony that recognises the voice of the people, the SLIM People’s Awards are presented by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, chosen through comprehensive nationwide research carried out by Kantar LMRB, one of the world-renowned research companies operating in Sri Lanka at present.


The People's Awards is rewarded based on a scientific research process which recognizes the favourite brands, personalities, organizations that are close to the Sri Lankan hearts and minds.

Asitha Samaraweera, Managing Director, Atlas Axillia Co. Ltd, was humbled by the continued consumer appreciation of the brand.
