 Rasoda Dairies shines in Gold at two Award Ceremonies

The Company bagged a Gold Award at the National Industry Excellence Awards 2023 organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB) and another Gold Award (Dairy Products Category) at the Wayamba Vijayabhimani Entrepreneur Excellence Awards 2023 organised by the Wayamba Provincial Industrial Services Federation (WPISF).


Deriving its name from the dawn of taste, Rasoda always uses fresh cow's milk from local dairy farmers to manufacture yoghurt, drinking yoghurt, curd, ice cream and many other products that adhere to the highest possible quality standards.


Therefore, Rasoda products have secured the trust of the consumers and they have been able to advance quickly in a very competitive market.

Launched in 2002 with four employees manufacturing products using an average of 100 – 150 litres of milk a day, Rasoda now uses more than 12,000 liters of milk per day using modern machinery in order to manufacture their dairy products.


The two new factories have a production capacity to use up to 40,000 litres of milk per day. It employs more than 250 people and has more than 300 dairy farmers supplying milk.


Rasoda Dairies, which is GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 certified, uses a combination of indigenous knowledge and the Dutch milk processing technology in order to manufacture high quality products.


At present, Rasoda Dairies is expanding its distribution network to all parts of Sri Lanka.
