Set to go on sale shortly, the Soul EV comes nicely equipped with power windows / locks, a power driver’s seat and cruise control.
The model also has Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation and a rear view camera. There's also a UVO infotainment system with EV Services which provides "real-time battery-level status, distance to empty and the ability to search for nearby charging stations."
The $35,700 Soul EV Plus goes one step further as it features heated / ventilated leather seats, power folding mirrors and projection-style fog lamps.
Motivation is provided by a 27 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery which powers an electric motor that develops 109 bhp (81 kW) and 210 lb-ft (284 Nm) of torque. This enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 12 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h).
Kia also says the model has an EPA-estimated range of 93 miles (150 km/h) and an MPGe rating of 120 city / 92 high / 105 combined.
Note: Prices exclude destination and handling fees as well as a government rebate of $7,500
