The donations included the critical medication Meropenem, which is used for antibiotic treatments for cancer patients and has been scarce in the country during recent times.
Sysco LABS Associates from the Hybrid Cloud Operations team spearheaded this initiative which also included donations from employees across multiple business units in the organization.
The total Donation exceeded LKR 1 million and included other medications such as Anaztrozole, Amikacin, Vancomycine, and Noradrenaline which are also essential for cancer treatment.
