Businesscafe - Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ GS:VRTU), a global provider of digital strategy, digital engineering, and IT services and solutions that help clients change and disrupt markets through innovation engineering, today announced it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Well-Architected Partner status.

AWS recognizes Virtusa’s expertise in delivering AWS Well-Architected reviews for existing application workloads and new applications based on AWS’ best practices and guidelines.

To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

By achieving the AWS Well-Architected Partner status, Virtusa differentiates itself as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized technical proficiency and proven customer success in identifying whether or not a customer’s workload meets the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAF).

In doing so, Virtusa helps clients leverage highly reliable and secure infrastructure at optimized costs.

These five pillars include

• Operational excellence to run and monitor systems and ensure they deliver business value and continually improve processes and procedures.

• Security that protects information, systems, and drives holistic risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

• Reliability to ensure that the workload is optimized to perform its intended function and recover any infrastructure disruptions effectively.

• Performance efficiency that uses IT and computing resources efficiently while new demands and evolving technologies continue to change the IT landscape.

• Cost optimization to avoid unnecessary costs or suboptimal resources.

“Building a secure, high-performing, and resilient infrastructure that can quickly respond to change is the foundation for establishing good architectural habits,” said Raymond Hennings, executive vice president, Virtusa.

“By achieving the AWS Well-Architected Partner designation, we are strengthening our ability to elevate AWS performance for long-term application and workload vitality.”

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises.

To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program to help customers identify AWS Consulting Partners with deep expertise in optimizing workloads and mitigating risks in their workloads.
