As part of the festivities, a captivating art exhibition showcased the creative talents of 90 young finalists, all of whom were children of HNB Finance staff members from the head office and branch offices island wide.
The exhibition, sponsored by the HNB Finance Yalu Children’s Savings Account, was held at the HNB Finance Headquarters auditorium.
HNB Finance Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Chaminda Prabhath officially opened the art exhibition in the presence of Deputy Chief Executive Officer Maduranga Heenkenda, senior management officials, the young finalists, their proud parents, and staff members.
The finalists were categorized into three age groups, and their creative works were evaluated by Dayawansa Kumasaru, former Advisor (Arts) at the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka.
In recognition of their artistic achievements, winners and participants alike were awarded certificates and prizes, with school supplies co-sponsored by Atlas Axillia Company Pvt Ltd.
HNB Finance also seized the opportunity to promote the importance of financial literacy, opening HNB Finance Yalu—Children’s Savings Accounts, and encouraging them to build a habit of saving from a young age.
Additionally, a magic show hosted to entertain the attendees, created a lively atmosphere for children and adults alike.
