Powered by the NDB Learning Academy and led by the Chief Manager of Learning and Development, the program was designed to empower A/L students across all streams by equipping them with essential personal grooming and career-building skills, helping them unlock their true potential and set ambitious goals for academic success.
The program, which is one of the NDB’s many efforts to position itself as a trusted development partner for schools, showcased the bank’s genuine interest in youth development.
It covered an array of topics aimed at fostering holistic development among the participants.
Sessions included identifying talent, passion, and purpose; personality profiling; goal setting; and equipping students with success tools and pathways to achieve their aspirations.
These interactive and engaging modules encouraged students to reflect on their strengths while providing them with the guidance needed to shape their future.
Adding further value to the session, NDB Bank introduced the students to NDB Pixel, a unique digital savings account tailored for teenagers aged 13 to 18.
The students were educated on the importance of cultivating financial independence and responsible saving habits from an early age.
The NDB Pixel account, designed with the younger generation in mind, offers features such as debit card facilities, NEOS mobile banking access, and exclusive promotional offers, making it an ideal banking solution for teenagers embarking on their financial journeys.
Through initiatives like “Skillshop for Students” and products like NDB Pixel, NDB Bank continues to reaffirm its commitment to empowering Sri Lanka’s youth.
By providing the tools, knowledge, and financial solutions they need, the Bank is helping to build a strong foundation for personal and professional success, contributing to the progress of future generations.
