Back for the sixth consecutive year, SLASSCOM’s People Summit 2016 aims to kick off your year by providing leaders at all levels with pioneering talent management insights and perspectives from renowned global leaders, as well as a prime networking and experience sharing opportunity.

The event will take place on the 27th of January 2016 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo from 9a.m to 6p.m.

This annual event aims to bring together over 200 HR professionals and business leaders representing IT/BPM and other industries.

The Summit’s objectives are twofold – firstly, to expose the audience to international best practices, cutting-end trends and insights delivered by renowned HR practitioners within the region. Secondly, it provides an excellent networking opportunity to the attendees, letting them learn through experience sharing.

This year, the key focus of the summit aligns perfectly with the trends that are currently being viewed upon as the most challenging areas of global people management.

The keynote speeches are based on organizational climate for creativity and innovation, employee engagement in an agile workplace, and talent management driven by information that's accessible by employees via social platforms.

The second half of the summit will include two interactive workshops conducted in parallel focusing on unleashing the potential of a multi-generational culture; secondly on shifts in employee engagement approaches and expectations around HR role and capabilities.

The workshops are conducted by renowned training and consultation organizations- Franklin Covey and QAI Global.

The event is supported by the Platinum Sponsor IFS, Gold Sponsors HSBC and Regus and Silver Sponsor TATA Communications.
