A total of 5,000 entries had been submitted, scrutinised by 90 judges, and shortlisted to 400 entries of which BBDO Worldwide accounted for 139 -- 30% more than the first runner-up. At the end of the awards ceremony, BBDO Worldwide took home 3 Grand Prix, 3 Creative Effectiveness Spikes, 8 Golds, 29 Silvers and 34 Bronzes.
BBDO agencies from Australia and New Zealand led from within the network with Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne taking home 2 Grand Prixs – for Branded Content and Direct, 1 Gold, 7 Silvers and 4 Bronzes. Clemenger BBDO, Wellington followed close with 12 Spikes including 4 Golds while Colenso BBDO won 11 Spikes – 1 Grand Prix, 3 Creative Effectiveness Spikes, 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 4 Bronzes.
The most awarded BBDO office in Asia was BBDO Pakistan which was awarded 10 Spikes, followed by BBDO and Proximity Singapore which took won 8 Spikes. BBDO India and BBDO and Proximity Malaysia were awarded 5 Spikes each.
Earlier this year BBDO Worldwide was ranked the Most Effective Agency Network in the World by Effie Worldwide, as well as named the Most Creative Agency Network in the World by The Gunn Report.

BBDO Lanka is the Sri Lankan affiliate of the global BBDO network and soon after only its first year of operations was awarded Campaign Asia-Pacific magazine’s ‘Rest of South Asia Creative Agency of the Year 2012’ – Silver.
