Customers simply had to swipe their CDB branded Visa debit cards in order to stand a chance to win the cash rewards on offer.
The first lucky winner was K U C Perera from Kelaniya who walked away with Rs. 10,000 thanks to the promotion. Ms. H. M. N Fonseka from Wennappuwa, M. N Wickramaratne from Maharagama, and S. D. K Rosa from Wennapuwa were also named winners over the next three weeks, receiving substantial cash rewards thanks to the Swipe and Win promotion.
The CDB debit card offers a host of advantages, allowing cardholders to earn a healthy 6.5% interest, while withdrawing cash from a leading network of over 600 ATMs across the island.
