HNB offers safe secure online shopping experience during lockdown with easy instalment plans and amazing discounts

Through these partnerships, HNB card holders can receive discounts up to 55% from select merchants, when they shop from the safety of their homes.


HNB credit cardholders can also make use of instalment payment options up to 12 months with no added fees for any transaction until June 15, 2021 as a special offer, and up to 60 months throughout the month of June with a nominal handling fee with leading merchant partners.

Therefore, we wanted to do our part to ease the burden on our loyal cardholders, by providing them access to the best possible deals available in the market.


Since the onset of the pandemic, we have doubled our efforts to achieve this goal, and we are committed to working with our merchant and delivery partners to ensure uninterrupted supply lines to allow life to continue as normally as possible” HNB Head of Cards, Gauthami Niranjan said.


HNB customers can have their groceries delivered for free when shopping on the Keells online platform or mobile app (cashback offer) till 15th June 2021, Rs. 500 off on essentials for bills of over Rs. 2,000 on PickMe Market and free delivery for 5 orders above Rs. 1,500 on Uber Eats – Grocery till 30th June 2021, while Glomark will offer a 20% discount for bills over Rs. 4,000 every Friday, till 31st December 2021.


Online platforms Daraz, Wasi.lk, athalangata.lk and Lovetubuy.lk will provide HNB customers with discounts of up to 10% for purchases on selected items.


Easy instalment payment options up to 24 months with no handling fees are also available for customers on the online platforms throughout the month of June.


Similarly, lifestyle partner mysoftlogic.lk offers HNB customers discounts of up to 55% on selected items, while cardholders will be eligible for additional 5% and 10% discount from Singer.lk on every Sunday and Buyabans.com on every Friday respectively.


HNB customers who don’t want to miss their exercise routines during this lockdown period, can obtain premium domestic fitness equipment and accessories with discounts of 15% from Quantum Fitness, together with 0% installment plans up to 48 months across all these lifestyle partners.


HNB cardholders can also dine safely from home and indulge their taste buds through delicious meals delivered straight from leading restaurants in Colombo such as Taj Samudra, Waters Edge, PappaRich, Asylum, Taco Bell, The Café Noir and Mama Louie’s at special discounted rates.


During June, Uber Eats will offer new users 50% off on their first two deliveries (with a maximum discount up to Rs.500), while Pizza Hut will continue with the famous HNB buy one get one free promotion for large pizzas every third Wednesday, available through the online site as well as the Pizza hut app till December 2021.


In line with rising concerns over obtaining medication on time, HNB cardholders also have the option of refilling in their prescriptions via quickmed.lk with a discount of 10% for bills over Rs. 1,000 until August 31.


Stationary provider Promate will also offer discounts of 35% for purchases on promateworld.com until June 20th.


HNB customers who wish to sign up for new insurance schemes during this period will receive a discount of 10% in addition to an easy instalment payment scheme with 0% up to 12 months, available exclusively from insureme.lk, valid till 31st December 2021.
