The Sri Lanka security providers Association of [ SLASSPA ] has hailed the move by the Government whereby the salary/wage increase for all private sector employees will result in the basic salary of the security guards being raised by Rs 2,500 per month, to be dispersed in two installments; namely Rs 1,500 being effective immediately and Rs 1,000 from 1st January 2016.
