The list size was increased to recognize 20 organizations that promote trust, respect, and opportunities for female talent, inspiring broader adoption of inclusive workplace practices.
Now in its 7th consecutive year, the study reflects participation from over 95,000 employees, including 43,000 women, across 150+ assessments conducted between July 2024 and August 2025.
Only organizations with a valid one-year Great Place To Work® Certification™ during this period were eligible for selection, ensuring that all nominees meet the minimum global threshold in employee trust levels.
The 20 Best Workplaces™ for Women 2025, in alphabetical order, include AB Mauri Lanka, AIA Insurance Lanka, AmSafe Bridport, Ansell Textiles Lanka, ATG Hand Care, BoardPAC, Diamond Cutters, Dole Lanka, EFL 3PL, EWIS Colombo, Hayleys Plantations, Hilton, HNB Assurance, Intrepid Colombo, ITX360, Marriott International, Omega Line, Oxford College of Business, SYNERGEN Health, and Uzabase.
The Great Place To Work® For All™ model determines the Best Workplaces™ using two main components: the Trust Index™ and the Culture Audit™.
The Trust Index™, which contributes 65% of the overall score, gathers anonymous employee feedback on trust, pride, and camaraderie, with post-survey audits including random calls to, ensure reliability and integrity of the results.
The Culture Audit™, accounting for the remaining 35%, assesses organizational practices that foster a positive workplace environment.
To qualify for evaluation, organizations must achieve at least 70% positive employee experience, employ a minimum of 20 female staff members representing 10% or more of the workforce, and implement practices that actively encourage belonging in the workplace.
Key insights from the 2025 study reveal that the overall positive experience of women in the Best Workplaces™ is 94%, reflecting a 1% increase from 2024.
Among women in both Best and Rest organizations, pride in corporate image is the highest scoring area, where as impartiality remains the lowest-scoring metric, with the Best outperforming the Rest by 20% points.
Additionally, for women in the Best Workplaces™, Manager Role Modeling emerges as the primary driver of emotional connection with the organization, highlighting the critical role of leadership in developing a supportive and inclusive culture.

The Awards Ceremony will be held on 9th December 2025, alongside a Wellness Workshop by Mihirini De Zoysa.
