Parent Inclusive Workplaces Summit 2025 Highlights the Path to Sustainable Corporate Culture in Sri Lanka

The Parent-Inclusive Workplaces Summit 2025, organized by Parenthood Global in partnership with Great Place To Work® Sri Lanka, convened corporate leaders, HR professionals, and culture influencers to advance the national conversation on parent-inclusive workplace cultures.

The summit also celebrated the 10 Best Workplaces for Parents in Sri Lanka 2025, recognizing organizations that exemplify care, flexibility, and holistic support for working parents.

The summit aimed to position parent-inclusive practices as a strategic business priority in Sri Lanka, educate leaders on global best practices, and promote collaborative learning that enables companies to benchmark, evolve, and innovate.


Participants gained practical insights on designing inclusive leadership frameworks, integrated support models, and holistic well-being strategies for parents, equipping them to build psychologically safe, high-performing, and supportive workplaces.

The event featured a keynote session by Charitha Bandara, Head of Sales Learning Academy at Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd, along with panel discussions with industry experts on topics such as “Leading with Care: Inclusive Leadership & Care as a Strategic Leadership Competency” and “Integrated Support Models & Well-being for Parents: Holistic Approaches and Best Practices.”

Insights from the study on workplace culture experienced by employees with parental responsibilities in Sri Lanka 2025 were presented by Jerome De Mel, Senior Relationship Manager – Business Development, and Hasindu Samarasinghe, Senior Consultant – Recognition Lists and Studies, Great Place To Work®, providing participants with data-driven benchmarks to evaluate and enhance their parent-support initiatives.

The 10 Best Workplaces for Parents in Sri Lanka 2025, recognized at the summit, include AB Mauri Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, AmSafe Bridport (Pvt) Ltd, Classic Travel (Pvt) Ltd, Hayleys Plantations, Hilton, Intrepid Colombo (Pvt) Ltd, Marriott International, Omega Line Ltd, Toppan Forms (Colombo) Limited, and Uzabase.

“The summit highlighted how inclusive leadership, care, and flexibility are not just HR initiatives but essential business strategies,” said Kshanika Ratnayaka, Director and CEO of Great Place To Work® Sri Lanka.


“By sharing global best practices and celebrating organizations that champion parent-inclusive policies, we aim to inspire Sri Lankan workplaces to become more supportive, resilient, and sustainable.”

The insights and strategies shared during the event are expected to drive long-term cultural transformation, ensuring that organizations can retain top talent, enhance employee engagement, and maintain high performance while supporting the diverse needs of working parents.
