The gold medal was offered by the Chancellor of the Sabaragamuwa University - Ven. Prof. Kaburugamuwe Vajira Thero, together with Wijerathne Kodippili - Corporate Member of CIPM & Attorney at Law who represented CIPM Sri Lanka at the annual convocation which was held at the Prof. Dayananda Somasundara Auditorium, the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in Belihuloya where over 1000 graduands received their degree certificates.
The CIPM full scholarship will entitle Ms Samarasinghe to follow CIPM’s Diploma in Professional Human Resource Management programme (DPHRM), which is the pathway to the internationally recognized CIPM Chartered Qualification in Human Resources Management (CQHRM) - the flagship HR qualification.

The Chancellor - Ven. Prof. Kaburugamuwe Vajira Thero, Vice-Chancellor - Prof. R. M. U. S. K. Rathnayaka, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science - Prof. Athula C. Gnapala, Deans of the other faculties, Heads of the Departments, senior and junior lecturers of the faculty, Ms. Amani Gunasekara, Assistant Registrar of the Faculty of Management Science and other dignitaries of the university were present at the convocation ceremony.
