Beauty by Rosh Makes History at Australian Fashion Week 2026

Most Partnerships Ever Secured by an Independent South Asian-Owned Makeup Brand at Australian Fashion Week in a Single Season.

From London Fashion Week to now taking over Australian Fashion Week Beauty by Rosh achieves yet another milestone.

Rosh who in February became the first South Asian beauty entrepreneur to secure partnerships at London Fashion Week sponsoring four designers on the main schedule, has now signed contracts with two Australian designers on the main schedule of AFW. She's bringing that energy home.

It's a milestone that puts an independent, South Asian-owned Australian brand in the same league as MAC Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, L'Oréal and Lancôme, and it signals that Beauty by Rosh has well and truly arrived on the global fashion stage.

The announcement places Beauty by Rosh alongside global beauty powerhouses as one of the week's official brand partners; a remarkable achievement for a brand that is only five years into its journey and is entirely independently run.

TWO SHOWS. TWO STORIES. ONE BRAND THAT BELONGS AT BOTH.

Beauty by Rosh has made history at Australian Fashion Week 2026, confirming official makeup partnerships with Gary Bigeni and Karla Spetic.

This is the most partnerships an independent brand and a South Asian-owned makeup brand has ever secured at AFW in a single season.

Australian Fashion Week 2026 will see three of fashion and beauty's most compelling founders partnering and none of them got there without first surviving something that would have stopped most people entirely.

For the Gary Bigeni show at Sydney's iconic Museum of Contemporary Art,

Rosh steps into the role of Makeup Director, leading a team of 10 artists backstage.

The show celebrates creativity, community, optimism, collaboration and inclusivity.

Beauty by Rosh will serve as official Makeup Partner and is joined by Toni & Guy as Hair Partner.

"This is more than a business partnership. Gary and I have both been through so much in life.

To stand backstage together at AFW, doing what we love means everything," said Rosh Kumarasinghe, Founder, Beauty by Rosh.

Beauty by Rosh will also serve as official makeup partner for Karla Spetic's show on 13th May, one of AFW's most established and media-attended runway shows.

The partnership unites two immigrant women who rebuilt their lives in Australia and built brands rooted in the strength and complexity of womanhood.

WHAT THIS SIGNALS FOR INDEPENDENT BEAUTY

This season marks Beauty by Rosh's third international fashion week, following its historic appearance at London Fashion Week as the first Australian makeup brand and Rosh as the first South Asian beauty entrepreneur to sponsor designers on the LFW main schedule.

"These partnerships are proof that an independently run, South Asian-owned Australian beauty brand can stand in the same room as the biggest names in the industry and belong there.

I hope this opens doors for other brands who are told to wait their turn," added Rosh Kumarasinghe, Founder, Beauty by Rosh.

Beauty by Rosh's AFW presence sends a clear message to the industry: independent, purpose-driven brands can compete at the highest level of global fashion week.

Founded in 2020, the brand has grown from a YouTube platform into an internationally recognised cosmetics label which is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and built for all skin tones.
