New Anthoney's Farms marks third year at Healthy Living Expo championing Antibiotic-Free Poultry

New Anthoney's Farms, Sri Lanka's pioneering producer of antibiotic-free, no-added hormones poultry, once again took its place at the Healthy Living Expo 2026, marking its third consecutive year at the country's foremost wellness exhibition.

The Expo ran from 6 to 8 March 2026 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo, welcoming free and open attendance from the public, as part of the 15th edition of Medicare 2026, an international healthcare exhibition.

The Healthy Living Expo is built on the principle of wellness before illness, a philosophy that sits at the heart of New Anthoney's Farms' founding mission.

The Farm has long held that what ends up on the dinner table begins long before the kitchen: it begins on the farm, with the choices made in rearing, feeding, and caring for every bird raised.

By choosing not to use antibiotics at any stahe, New Anthoney's Farms ensures that its poultry supports, rather than undermines, the long-term health of the families it feeds.

Visitors to the New Anthoney's Farms stand engaged directly with the Farm's ethos: where their food comes from, how it is produced, why antibiotic-free matters for individual health and national food safety, and how they can make more informed choices in their daily lives.

The stand was designed not merely to showcase a product, but to spark a conversation, one that the Farm has been committed to starting for decades.

2026 marks New Anthoney's Farms' 40th anniversary, that is four decades of raising poultry with integrity, and of building a supply chain that Sri Lankan consumers can trust.

That trust, earned over generations, was celebrated and renewed at the Expo through direct conversations with visitors about what antibiotic-free farming truly means: lower antimicrobial resistance risk, cleaner protein, and food produced without shortcuts.

The timing was equally notable in the context of food culture.

New Anthoney's Farms recently became the Official Poultry Partner of MasterChef Sri Lanka, a partnership that brought its antibiotic-free produce into the kitchens of some of the country's most ambitious home cooks.

The association with MasterChef Sri Lanka underscored a broader truth: clean food is not a niche preference; it is the standard that the country's food culture is beginning to expect.

What contestants cook with matters as much as how they cook it.

That conviction also found expression in the academic sphere. Earlier this year, New Anthoney's Farms signed a MoU with the University of Peradeniya, formalising a research partnership focused on sustainable poultry science.

The collaboration will deepen the Farm's understanding of antibiotic-free production methods and contribute to evidence-based advocacy around antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
