Yazu at the Beach Brings Galle’s Pan-Asian Flavour to ON14

Galle, Wednesday 26 August 2026 : Colombo, your dinner plans just got a whole lot more interesting.

On 28 August, Yazu at the Beach is packing up its signature Pan-Asian energy in Galle and heading north for a one-night takeover of ON14 at Radisson Hotel Colombo.

And Yazu is not coming empty-handed.

Expect a menu built for serious sharing, questionable decisions about ordering “just one more,” and plenty of chopstick action.

The evening kicks off with Yazu’s dim sum and bao favourites, including Truffle Edamame Dumplings, Prawn Hargow, Sriracha Chicken Dumplings and Pan-Fried Mushroom Bao.

Then things get a little more adventurous.

Yazu’s maki selection brings together everything from Crispy Avocado & Cucumber and Spicy Salmon to Prawn Tempura and the signature Watermelon Roll, a Yazu creation that is every bit as playful as its name suggests.

For those who like their flavours loud, the small plates turn up the volume with Sichuan Chicken Pepper Corn, Signature Sichuan Butter Garlic Prawns, Beef in Black Pepper Sauce and Sweet and Sour Pork.

There is fire involved too.

Yazu’s Hot Stone Grill brings Chicken Yakitori, Prime Beef Guy Kushi and Norwegian Salmon to the table, while the wok keeps things comforting with Thai Red Curry, Spicy Korean Ramen, Kimchi Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles.

And because walking away after savoury food is apparently optional, there is dessert.

Chocolate Sesame Bar, Tiramisu, Brownie and the gloriously indulgent Matilda Cake Pull Me Up are ready to finish things on a suitably sweet note.

With ON14’s rooftop setting providing the backdrop, Yazu at the Beach’s Colombo takeover is less about a formal dinner and more about getting together, ordering generously and discovering what happens when Galle’s favourite Pan-Asian playground meets one of Colombo’s most iconic rooftops.
