AIA Insurance continues its societal support during difficult times - lends a hand to Monaragala SOS Children’s Village

Businesscafe - AIA Insurance pledged to financially support the Monaragala SOS Children’s Village for the year 2022, to sponsor the children’s education and upbringing during the economic crisis.

The sponsorship ceremony was held recently at the SOS children’s village in Monaragala.

AIA’s volunteers including AIA’s CEO, Deputy CEO, Senior Management, AIA Monaragala Regional management and wealth planners, took time to be with the beautiful children, their wonderful surrogate mothers and SOS officials who work tirelessly to make the children’s world a better place.

AIA’s employees collaborated with the Company’s efforts, and donated a water purifying filter, books for the village library, exercise books and stationery items for the village school.

The SOS Children’s Village in Monaragala is home to 120 vulnerable children who lack family support and provides them with support and care programmes, medical and educational facilities so they can reach their full potential.

This is one of the many initiatives through which AIA continues to lend a hand to those in need in our society and support the country as it battles through the current economic crisis.
