The tournament held at the Royal College Indoor Stadium was attended by four renowned basketball teams in Sri Lanka’s corporate sector; Commercial Credit, Dialog Axiata, SriLankan Air Lines and Fairfirst Insurance.
Recommencing after a holdback of two years due to the pandemic, spectators were thrilled to view the players making the best of their efforts on the court.
Fairfirst’s win was a significant achievement gained through hard work and the constant support of the company.
Led by Shehan Udayanga, the National level basketball star, Team Fairfirst beat Commercial Credit at the finals bringing a well-deserved trophy back home.
Team Fairfirst was not new to the win as they had previously won championships in the league and knockout competitions in 2017 and 2018.

Thus, winning has become a forte of the entity.

“Kudos to my team on a well-done job.
It feels amazing to reap the benefits of our efforts.
Also, having the support of a company that understands the importance of a good work-life balance must be mentioned, as this win wouldn’t have been possible if not for that support from Fairfirst.”
Manager of Fairfirst’s basketball team and Chief Marketing Officer, Sasith Bambaradeniya, expressed his views highlighting the fact that Fairfirst is a company that values and promotes talents that are beneficial not just for the company, but the employees personally as well.
