Johann Peries became only the second Sri Lankan to successfully summit Mount Everest back in May 2018 having narrowly fallen short of achieving the feat two years earlier.

Mount Denali is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet above sea level and is also known to be the tallest mountain in the world from base-to-peak on land, measuring 18,000 feet.
