Janashakthi Insurance and Janashakthi Finance

Janashakthi Insurance PLC and Janashakthi Finance PLC, two strategic business units of JXG (Janashakthi Group), recently relocated their respective head offices to the Bishop's Gate Building at No. 338, T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10.

This move marks a key step in strengthening the Group’s unified identity and operational footprint.

The new headquarters brings both businesses into the same prestigious building, offering greater convenience to customers and reinforcing the Group’s presence in the heart of Colombo.

The location, known as the Bishop's Gate, is a heritage site where formal women’s education began in Sri Lanka, adding a layer of historical significance to this central and accessible business hub.

This strategic choice further supports the Group’s aim to enhance service delivery and internal collaboration.

The transition is particularly timely following the recent rebranding of Orient Finance as Janashakthi Finance PLC, a move that reflects a broader strategy to align all entities under a common brand and vision.

Designed with a modern, open-concept layout, the office spaces promote a collaborative work culture and have been thoughtfully crafted to embody JXG’s core values of Integrity, Collaboration, Respect, Innovation, and a Performance Driven culture.

It also emphasizes functionality, accessibility, and employee wellbeing.

The interiors, designed by a renowned architect, boldly blend history with modernity, utilizing clean geometries inspired by the art of Piet Mondrian and vibrant colours to evoke energy, clarity, and optimism.

Ravi Liyanage, Director/CEO, Janashakthi Insurance PLC, said

“Our Headquarters at Bishop's Gate Building marks a significant milestone in celebrating 30 years of excellence and sets the foundation for the continued growth and future of Janashakthi Insurance.

The design of our new workplace reflects and fosters our core values of Innovation, Collaboration, and Respect.

These values, in turn, play a key role in strengthening our commitment to being performance driven and upholding integrity, while creating an inclusive environment for every member of the Janashakthi Family.”

K.M.M. Jabir, Director/CEO, Janashakthi Finance PLC, added,

“Moving into our new consolidated office marks an exciting chapter for Janashakthi Finance following our recent rebranding.

The strategic move enables us to leverage collective strengths throughout the Group’s entities, expand Janashakthi Finance branch network more effectively, and reach communities with comprehensive financial services.”

As Janashakthi Insurance and Janashakthi Finance step into an exciting new phase, the unified approach under JXG’s ‘Stronger Together, Stronger Than Ever’ philosophy demonstrates the emerging financial conglomerate's focus on collective strength and operational excellence.
