Clogard Strengthens Community Bonds at Nallur Festival 2025

In August of every year, the Northern city of Jaffna, comes alive with colour, and devotion as thousands come together at the Historic Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil.

One of Sri Lanka’s most significant Hindu festivals, Nallur is much more than a religious festival, it is a celebration of culture, community and tradition, that brings over a million devotees and visitors together from across the globe.


This year’s festival began on the 29th of July 2025 and culminated in the Grand Chariot procession which took place from the 19th of August to the 21st of August 2025.

For Clogard, one of Sri Lanka’s most trusted oral care brands from Hemas Consumer Brands, being a part of this vibrant, historic celebration is a way of deepening its bonds with the people from the North.


Over the years, Clogard has evolved into a beloved brand across Sri Lanka, reputed for its trusted products and for standing by its consumers in moments that matter.


As in previous years, Clogard ensured its presence at the festivities, with an on-ground opportunity to engage with the community and give back to them as well.

From the 13th to 17th August 2025, Clogard visited and reached over 2000 households in Point Pedro, Nelliyadi, Chunnagam, Sangani, and Kayts.


Families were educated on the paramount importance of proper oral care.


As gratitude for their presence, families were presented with a small token of appreciation from the brand.

Clogard’s presence at Nallur between the 19th and 21st of August offered exciting, educational and engaging experiences.


Every moment at the Clogard stall was alive with vibrant and energetic crowds.


The brand was able to implement two engaging activities, that had large gatherings of people, eager to take part. Both activities were designed to create awareness about oral health and be fun at the same time.


The first activity was the Clogard Claw Challenge, a life-sized claw machine, full of Clogard toothpaste packs, which delighted visitors.


The second attraction was the Clogard Germs Buster Game, which turned oral health education into a playful experience, which saw devotees and visitors tossing cloved shaped toys at ‘germs’, placed in a giant 3D tooth.
