Taking place this evening at the Lotus Hall, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), 21 new charterholders along with 02 candidates who completed the CFA program will be recognized at the event.
This milestone event reinforces the Society’s commitment to Forging the Future of Finance by fostering excellence, integrity, and leadership in the industry.
The ceremony will be graced by Vindhya Jayasekera, CFA, Chief Executive Officer – Designate, Colombo Stock Exchange, who will attend as the Chief Guest and Orator.
The CFA charter, awarded by the globally recognized CFA Institute, is regarded as the gold standard in the finance profession, with over 200,000 charterholders worldwide across 160 markets.
The event will be hosted by Rashmi Peiris Paranavitane, CFA, President, along with the Board of Directors, of CFA Society Sri Lanka.
CFA Society Sri Lanka, established in 2001, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the professional development of CFA charterholders and candidates.
The Society represents more than 245 charterholders in Sri Lanka and its membership includes CEOs, CFOs, portfolio managers, equity analysts, banking professionals, investment advisors, and other senior-ranking financial practitioners, along with over 400 candidates primarily from the financial sector.
