Celia, a leading infant nutrition brand of French origin, has paid an emotional tribute to motherhood by recognizing a mother’s affection, dreams and inspirations for her infant.

Via its ‘Celia Dear Baby’ campaign conducted through Facebook, Celia invited mothers and mothers to be to write a letter describing their dreams for their infants.

The campaign generated hundreds of heart-warming responses from and thousands of positive engagements with expectant mothers and mothers of toddlers from across the country.

These letters ranged from emotional poetry to prose, demonstrating the depth of a mother’s affection for her baby, the wonder of seeing the newborn and their dreams and hopes for the child’s future.

Celebrating the aspirations that all mothers have for their children, Celia rewarded all participants with special gifts, nutritional guidance booklets, etc.

In addition to these rewards, ten lucky winners chosen at a draw were given gift packs and vouchers from premium baby stores.

Virani Ekanayake, a mother from Kurunegala was selected as the Grand Prize Winner – entitling her to a photo shoot with her baby, paid in full by Celia.

The letters received from the mothers have been uploaded on Celia Sri Lanka’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CeliaSriLanka/), enabling all those interested to read them.

Celia has a rich heritage (since 1927) for child nutrition and today, Celia is sold worldwide in more than 40 countries.
