Certified via Control Union by the global awarding bodies Textile Exchange and GOTS, Asialine sets an example for manufacturing operations across Sri Lanka, continuing their journey in manufacturing sustainable products covering synthetics, cotton and wool material.
Certified for its maintenance of established global standards, Asialine will continue to be audited by Control Union on behalf of Textile Exchange and GOTS to ensure consistent, sustainable manufacturing practices.
This achievement is part of MAS’ larger commitment to inspire sustainable change within the business, among customers, communities, and the planet at large.
MAS Holdings places sustainability at the core of its business; and as the organisation expands locally and internationally, sustainable practices have filtered further into the product manufacturing process becoming deeply embedded within the company’s organisational culture.
Whilst constantly seeking new solutions to create sustainable change, MAS Holdings has set bold, measurable targets including a plan to generate 50% revenue through sustainable products by 2025.
The trio of recently acquired certifications by MAS Active Asialine is an important step towards this goal.
The efforts are aimed not only at causing less harm to the environment but also at making a positive, long-lasting impact.
