'Floating Market' opening rescheduled for August 25

The rescheduled ceremonial opening of the Floating Market at Pettah will be held at 1700 hrs on Monday, 25 August 2014.

Maithreepala Sirisena, the Minister of Health will grace the occasion as Chief Guest on the invitation of Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Ministry of Defence & Urban Development.

Several other senior politicians and government and private sector officials will also attend this historic occasion.(KH)
