BMW awards MotoGP best qualifier Marc Marquez with a bespoke M4 Coupe

BMW has awarded 2014 MotoGP best qualifier Marc Marquez with a bespoke M4 Coupe.

The one-off model features a BMW Individual Frozen Red Metallic exterior and a unique interior with Merino Opal White leather upholstery as well as Ash Grain White wood trim.

Power is provided by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that develops 431 PS (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an M double-clutch transmission which enables the car to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.

According to Marquez, “Knowing the prize is there at the end of the year gives you special motivation when going for pole on Saturday." He added, "This year even more so, because I really like this BMW M4 Coupe. I am happy to receive this car and, of course, I will enjoy it.”
