Salesforce to offer new platform with human resources capabilities

Salesforce has unveiled a new slew of tools geared toward human resources and employee engagement.

The Employee Journeys app aids HR professionals to help manage employees atop of the existing Salesforce capabilities.

“What we are doing is taking the best of our technologies and allowing customers to turn them inward and deliver the same type of success to their employees,” Bobby Amezaga, director of product marketing at Salesforce told TechCrunch.

Salesforce already offers a program called Chatter that allows employees to communicate in a manner similar to Twitter.

The human resources capabilities would be integrated with this platform.

The new products will available immediately.
