Airtel bridges digital divide in Ratnapura; completes another tower under Gamata Sanniwedanaya

Businesscafe - Supporting Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s (TRCSL) Gamata Sanniwedanaya initiative to create a digitally inclusive Sri Lanka, Airtel Lanka announced the completion of another tower in Welekumbura, Ratnapura.

The newly commissioned 4G tower will for the first time enable true mobility, improved speeds, indoor coverage and latency.

This will translate into an optimised, reliable 4G experience for a total population in the region of 33,737, leveraging on Airtel’s drastically improved, world-class 4G network coverage.
