Q: Why have you decided to bring Huawei Nova 5T to Sri Lanka?
A: We always believe that our new technological advances should be brought to our loyal customers in Sri Lanka.

The Nova 5T brings out a lot of technological innovations that Huawei has brought forth for the first time, such as first ever 7-nanometer Kirin 980 AI Chipset for a flagship smartphone of its price, and we consider that our fan base should enjoy these advances.
Q: What are the special features that this smartphone brings?
A: The Huawei nova 5T represents an excellent blend of performance and affordability with an otherwise solid design, good rear cameras and a flagship class processor.
The Nova 5T has 8GB of RAM and built with 128GB of internal storage, it operates on the new EMUI 9.1 OS, alongside a 3,750mAh battery with 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge support.
In terms of photographic capabilities, it features a rear 4-camera system that comprises of the main 48MP lens, 16MP ultra wide-angle, 2MP macro, and 2MP bokeh lens.
The phone’s AI-powered Super Night mode ensures “blur-free” footages in low-light conditions.
The Macro lens allows the user to focus on objects as close as 4cm while the 48 MP main back camera features a Sony ½-inch CMOS sensor that makes the Nova 5T a tremendously capable photographic tool.
The front selfie camera, integrated into the FullView screen, features a 32MP f/2.0 lens that is housed in a punch-hole at the top left of its display.
Additionally, the ISO sensitivity of the Huawei Nova 5T is proved to be in compatibility with those of leading cameras.
The camera also sports professional bokeh effects and features the all-new AI Portrait Colour that gives off a more cinematic feel to your pictures.
Q: What is the significance of the Nova 5T’s unique design and colors?
A: The Nova 5T is available in the youthful colors of Midsummer Purple, Black and Crush Blue which is more appealing to the millennial eye.
This phone, with all its capabilities is exclusively designed for the younger generation.
The 3D effect on the back surface is also particularly attractive and one of its kind.
Additionally, the new Nova logo is integrated into the 3D surface of the Midsummer Purple version of the smartphone for a more appealing and youthful look.
Q: How is this smartphone more advanced than the rest of the Nova family?
A: The Nova 5T comes with the EMUI 9.1 and the smartphone is proven to have a 59% faster app launch speed and further 57% smoother UI operation than that of the Nova 4.
Its GPU Turbo 3 allows users to indulge in virtual gaming with absolutely no lag. Its back camera features around 200% more mega pixels (MP) than Huawei Nova 3i, while its front camera features 33% more front camera mega pixels, capturing pictures of better quality.
The Huawei Nova 5T’s multiple cameras is essentially useful for enhancing certain effects like blur, zoom and wide angle photos.
Additionally, its battery capacity is approximately 12% better than that of other Nova smartphones.
It also packs a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is a first for Huawei.
Q: What has the reception been so far for Huawei Nova 5T?
A: Owing principally to the high-quality features it presents for a mid-range price, the Huawei Nova 5T has become an instant hit.
We are very pleased at the enthusiasm all over the country for this new innovation.
People have passionately welcomed the impending era of technology and all the advances it has brought.
Q: What can you say about the Nova consumer base in Sri Lanka?
A: In Sri Lanka, we have close to 200,000 Nova users, or ‘Stars’.
These users have been extremely loyal to us and accepted all our advances enthusiastically.
We have offered them an installment basis payment for Huawei Nova 5T as well, so that it is significantly easier for them to gain access to this flagship phone.
We believe that our dedicated consumer base will continue to grow faithfully through the impending years.
