A Virtual Pandol television experience for the first time in Sri Lankan history

Businesscafe - For the first time in Sri Lankan history a ‘Virtual Pandol’ will be brought to the television screens across the nation by Charana TV (CH.05 on PEOTV) on Vesak Full Moon Poya Day (26) and the following day from 7.00 P.M. onwards.

Based on the theme around the tale of ‘Daddara Jaathakaya’ from the Pansiya Panas Jaathakaya (550 Jaathaka Tales), this pandol features 09 frames that portray the story line in vivid colourful imagery.

Designed encapsulating the glorious traditional structure and features of a pandol, this virtual television experience, brings to life its story in ‘virindu’ and narrative dialogue form to recreate an authentic experience.

Charana TV (CH.05) brings to life the true spirit of Vesak Day in a revolutionary experience with a Live ‘Virtual Pandol’ to the nation’s television screens.
