ITC Ratnadipa Honours the Spirit of India on its 80th Independence Day

ITC Ratnadipa proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026, bringing together hotel guests and the ITC Ratnadipa team members for a flag-hoisting ceremony at the hotel.

The Indian National flag was proudly hoisted by Mr. Keenan McKenzie, Area Manager – Sri Lanka & General Manager, ITC Ratnadipa Colombo, marking a moment that reflected a shared spirit of respect, peace and celebration of India.

The meaningful morning commenced with the hoisting of the Indian national flag, followed by the national anthem and performances that brought the spirit of India to life.

The celebration paid homage to the nation’s remarkable resilience, rich heritage and diverse cultural identity, while reflecting on its journey towards a renewed and confident future.

Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Keenan McKenzie, Area Manager, Sri Lanka and General Manager, ITC Ratnadipa, said,
