DHL Express Sri Lanka scores high rankings and win multiple categories in Great Place to Work Awards 2021

Businesscafe - DHL Express Sri Lanka has announced it has once again ranked as one of the best 40 Work Places to work for in Sri Lanka and received Gold and Silver accolades at the recent Great Place to Work® - Sri Lanka Awards ceremony 2021, highlighting the people-centered culture and collaborative work environment that has been a cornerstone for more than four decades.

The latest honours include certification as a Great Place to Work in 2021, being listed as one of the best 40 Work Places to work for in Sri Lanka, a Gold Award for a Multinational Category, Silver Award for Medium Sized Organizations Category and special Award for DHL Express Sri Lanka’s contribution in DHL Express securing the number 1 position as the World’s Best Work Place.


Over nearly seven consecutive years DHL Express Sri Lanka has consistently been awarded Great Place to Work® accolades which demonstrates the importance the company places upon creating an enriching culture and working environment for employees.


This year’s methodology introduced a more evolved model of assessing the best workplaces with evaluation based on trust, maximizing human potential, values, leadership effectiveness, innovation by all and financial growth.


This year Great Place to Work® also focused and recognized how organizations cared for their employees, supported their customers, and made a difference in their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.


Great Place to Work® 2021 recognition is particularly significant as despite tested by the pandemic, causing tremendous employment challenges, DHL Express Sri Lanka has continued in its quest to enhance the workplace nurturing a caring culture.

DHL Express Sri Lanka’s local rankings also reflects its parent company’s stature.


DHL Express, the world's leading international express service provider, was named the number one best workplace worldwide recently according to the annual list published by Great Place to Work™ (GPTW) in collaboration with Fortune Magazine.


The GPTW survey recorded increased staff motivation and engagement levels, surpassing the company's 93% score in 2020. It noted that DHL Express has focused on job security and staff well-being throughout this challenging period, ensuring employees remained safe, connected, and supported.
