Janashakthi Finance PLC celebrates the heritage and culture of Nallur Festival 2025

Janashakthi Finance PLC, formerly known as Orient Finance PLC and a subsidiary of JXG (Janashakthi Group), joined the people of Jaffna in celebrating the Nallur Festival 2025, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered cultural and religious events.

This engagement was not about sponsorship but about honouring heritage and strengthening bonds with diverse communities.

The Nallur Festival, held in Jaffna from 29th July to 23rd August 2025, brings together thousands of devotees and visitors from across Sri Lanka and the world.

For Janashakthi Finance, participation in this celebration was an opportunity to stand alongside the community, respect its traditions, and contribute to its continuity through meaningful engagement.

To deepen this connection, Janashakthi Finance carried out a special door-to-door initiative from 6th to 15th August, bringing its services directly into homes across the Northern Province.

This human-centred approach allowed individuals and families to interact with company representatives in a familiar environment, gain clarity on financial solutions, and experience finance as an enabler of everyday life.

The initiative underscored Janashakthi Finance’s dedication not just to financial services, but to fostering accessibility, inclusivity, and trust - principles that resonate deeply with the spirit of the Nallur Festival. The company also amplified its message of community engagement through Capital Tharisanam TV (PEO TV Channel 124), Facebook, and YouTube Live, extending the celebration and its impact to audiences across Sri Lanka and abroad.

Commenting on this cultural engagement, Sithambaram Sri Ganendran, Chief Operating Officer of Janashakthi Finance PLC, said,

“Our presence at the Nallur Festival 2025 is a reflection of our belief that finance is about people, heritage, and shared progress.

This was not just an event for us, but a meaningful opportunity to walk alongside communities, respect their traditions, and reaffirm our purpose as a people-first financial partner.

Marking our 44th anniversary amidst our rebranding journey, we reaffirm our commitment to building inclusive, accessible, and relevant financial solutions for every Sri Lankan.”

By aligning its anniversary milestone, cultural engagement, and rebranding journey, Janashakthi Finance underscores its identity as a trusted financial services partner that values more than transactions.

It values people, traditions, and the communities that define Sri Lanka’s rich cultural fabric.

With a growing network of 37 branches across the island, the company continues to deepen its role as an enabler of financial empowerment while celebrating the heritage that unites all.
