In another pioneering step forward by E FM, which is a part of the EAP Broadcasting Company (EBC), this segment is in response to a dearth of business news coverage in the industry.
The programme will contain comprehensive interviews with prominent business personalities, innovators and disruptors.
Biz Talk will also be accessible on the LMD and E FM websites and their Facebook pages as soon as they have been broadcast over E FM.
Marketing Director for Media Services Pvt. Ltd, Brian Emmanuel said, “We feel that since we cater to a similar audience, and we have our different strengths, LMD having a strong presence in print and E FM being established in radio, together we will be effective in reaching our respective target group.
The programmes will concentrate mainly on business and we plan to have the content on our websites as well so that more people can have access to it.”
“In a world where the globe is shrinking as e-Commerce takes over, the local economy and its leaders still largely rely on traditional methods of information and learning.
We see a huge gap in the broadcasting industry and aim to provide short, meaningful discourse on business best practices and new business opportunities by leaders in the field, that will be of benefit to those who are interested in learning and enhancing their knowledge and prowess in the business world.”, commented Chalaka Gajabahu, Executive Vice President and COO of EBC Radio.
With a range of topics and eminent personalities lined up, listeners and viewers can now access a knowledge bank of information and gain significant insights into various industry leaders’ driving factors and harness this knowledge to their own benefit.
