ComBank wins two top awards from International Business Magazine - UAE

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has been awarded the titles of ‘Best Corporate Bank Sri Lanka 2020’ and ‘Best Trade Finance Bank Sri Lanka 2020’ by the International Business Magazine of the UAE.

The awards recognise the best-in-class achievements pertaining to budding industrial talent, global leaders and corporates across spheres related to the international business and finance arena, and are structured to identify core corporate players known to showcase their extraordinary prowess to lead.


They honour those who strive hard to deliver supreme quality-backed services and function as a platform to appreciate business ethics and productive work.

The entire awards process is operated free-of-charge and is strictly supervised and scrutinised by expert panelists comprising of key subject matter experts, and judging panelists comprising of a research team and editor to finally select winners among the list of nominees.

Among those awarded were niche businesses to emerging markets, SMEs to lead corporates, stock exchanges, insurance and forex providers, real estate giants, and companies in banking and finance.

Notably, the Commercial Bank of Ceylon also won the title of ‘Best Private Bank Sri Lanka’ from the same awarding body last year.
