Pierce will work with the senior team at Tayburn’s Edinburgh office to drive the agency’s reach south of the border.
Tayburn’s managing director, Simon Farrell, said: “This appointment is an important element of our growth strategy. We’ve had a very successful first six months of our financial year, with income currently 20% up year-on-year. We’ve won a lot of new work recently, particularly in financial services, education and food and drink.”
Pierce, who organises all British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) events in Scotland and is also a popular food blogger, said: “This is a key time in Tayburn’s continued growth. I’ll be creating some exciting new events to underpin commercial activity as well as managing general communications and developing new partnerships. Right now, ‘service design’ is probably the biggest trend in the market. It’s now all about the end-to-end journey and experience of a brand, not just one or two touch points.”
Tayburn’s clients include Diageo, ING Bank, Royal Mail and Scottish Water.
